- Location: Weynset IDP Camp, Debre Birhan
- Focus: Menstrual dignity and education support
- Support provided: Educational kits, sanitary pads, and community engagement
The need we witnessed
Many women and girls continue to face period poverty due to limited access to menstrual hygiene products, while children struggle to continue learning without basic educational materials. These gaps do not only affect daily life, they affect dignity, confidence, and future opportunities.
Our response
AfriYAN Ethiopia delivered educational kits to encourage learning, sanitary pads to support dignity, and hands on community support to stand in solidarity with displaced families. This mission was not only about aid, it was about restoring hope and reminding communities that they are not forgotten.
