Why AfriYAN Ethiopia matters
AfriYAN Ethiopia was launched to strengthen youth leadership, create space for meaningful participation, and amplify youth voice in national development. It responds to real challenges young people face, including limited access to quality SRHR information and services, and limited participation in decision making. AfriYAN Ethiopia brings youth together to advocate, build skills, and shape solutions that affect their lives.
What AfriYAN does
AfriYAN works through advocacy, policy dialogue, capacity building, and mentoring. The network supports youth to engage at national, regional, and global levels, with strong attention to SRHR, gender equality, and inclusive youth participation.
What we agreed to do next
During the launch, members discussed how to strengthen the network, improve communication, and build leadership structures. A roadmap was developed to guide priorities and implementation.
